...well not quite, but hurry!
If you're at all up to date with the NZ hand knitting/crochet scene, you will have heard of the new offering from Outlaw Yarn. Nyx is a DK weight Polwarth / Silk blend, just launched in a sophisticated six colour range. It's made such a big splash in it's opening couple of weeks, Outlaw Yarn have all but sold out! If you want to try it for yourself, you will need to check out an Outlaw Yarn stockist and grab some from them instead.
It's the combination of the high sheen Polwarth wool and the silk that gives Nyx its shine. It's a double whammy of lustre, that doesn't compromise on stitch memory like a lot of glossy yarns. If you need a soft silky handle and the stitch definition to show off your fancy patterns, Nyx will work wonders for you. The colour range is grown up, but also subtle and delicate enough to work for a special child's garment. Not sure what to knit? Truly Myrtle has just released three patterns in Nyx and there's a knit-along happening in the Outlaw Yarn Ravelry group. Join in the fun!
